eStatements FAQs

What are Electronic Statements?

These are electronic account statements, available in your password-protected online banking each month. You will be able to view, print, or save the statement.

Your Electronic Statements are protected using high-level encryption technology and are only available with your online banking login ID and password. This is actually more secure than sending them through the traditional mail.

Does an Electronic Statement include images of my checks?

Yes, Electronic Statements will look the same and include all the information as your paper statement.

Are Electronic Statements available on all First National Bank of Michigan accounts?

At First National Bank of Michigan, eStatements are available for all deposit accounts.

Can my Electronic Statement notification be sent to multiple email addresses?

Yes, you can choose to send your Electronic Statement notifications to as many as three separate email addresses.

Within online banking, visit the Electronic Statements tab and choose “email settings” to update the main email address. Click on the “Additional Recipients” tab to add or change any additional email accounts where your Electronic Statements notification is being sent.

Is special software required to view my eStatement online?

Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view your statement. Download the latest version for free.

When can I expect to receive my first Electronic Statement?

You will receive your eStatement on the next statement date after you sign up. Each Electronic Statement will be available through online banking for 18 months after it is sent to you. You can permanently save them to your own computer if desired.
